For me, photography is about slowing down long enough to notice the beauty around us—the light, the landscape, the wildlife, and the moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

A low sun glows over the ocean as waves roll across a broad stretch of shore. The shifting gold on the water gives the scene a lovely sense of calm, even as the surf keeps moving. Bright light breaks through layered clouds and lays a warm path across the rippling surface, while the nearer waves gather into foamy bands. Their soft blur makes each surge feel momentary, as if the shoreline is continually being remade and released. Far along the horizon, small buildings form a faint line beneath the glowing sky, adding a quiet hint of a coast beyond the open water. There is pleasure in lingering with this contrast: the sun holds steady, but reflections and foam keep changing with every passing wave, leaving the open sea feeling spacious.
